Core Function
Securing gigs for client’s of kensambury.com in Trinidad, Jamaica, St Lucia, Grenada and other territories by maintaining relationships with the right people: promoters, clubs, Soca artiste, etc. <Click for a Brief Background of what kensambury.com is>
Responsibilities
- Develop contacts with individuals and organizations, and apply effective strategies and techniques to ensure their clients’ success.
- Keep informed of industry trends and deals.
- Collect fees, commissions, or other payments, according to contract terms.
- Arrange and attend meetings concerning issues involving the artiste’s clients and sponsors.
- Confer with the team to develop strategies for the client, and to explain actions taken on the artiste’s behalf.
- Schedule promotional or performance engagements for kensambury.com.
- Manage business and financial affairs for kensambury.com, such as arranging travel and lodging, selling tickets, and directing marketing and advertising activities.
- Obtain information about or otherwise ensure that the team’s working conditions and accommodations meet the required specifications.
- Simple Clerical Duties – Develop quotes, invoices and presentations.
- Prepare periodic accounting statements for kensambury.com
- Periodically updating the kensambury.com Social Media.
Skills & Requirements
- Customer and Personal Service – Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

- Sales and Marketing – Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
- A Valid Passport & willing to travel.
- Five CXC, CSEC or GCE passes including Math and English. A Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Communications or International Relations will be an asset.

Compensation:
Up to $500 usd per Carnival season
+ A fixed percentage of all the bookings arranged.
Minimum of 5 bookings secured and closed per season.
Deadline:
6pm Tuesday 30th April, 2024 (but if we find a suitable candidate before that we will close the applications early)
Summary:
Our objective is to allow the booking agent the opportunity to earn exponentially while driving business through well established relationships.
