Raised in the east side of Trinidad and Tobago, I got half of my instruction from inside my strict Christian household and the other half from everywhere else. My Hillview College secondary school education honed my fascination with different cultures and how they interact with one another. This has left me slow to judge and quick to appreciate viewpoints that may differ from mine.
