The Brunch + Booze + YOU!

After two days straight of full course meals with plenty lasagne it took some doing to get myself out the house on the day after Boxing Day. Then again, food was once again the mission.
Some rainshowers blessed the latecomers as the event was extended till 8pm instead of 6pm as previously planned.
This brunch was nestled in the Carmel Valley Estate & I personally liked the details in the table layout.
The New Caterers
So I never knew who the caterers were before, but I know for sure who the caterers were last night! The food servers had branded tees and a lovely easy to read ‘standy’ that explained exactly what I was eating. To be fair, I would have still eaten not knowing exactly what it was, but I appreciate the education. Now I can say that “Double Black Smoked Pulled Pork” tasted amazing.

As 2015 closes. Lets recognise what we have become. Yes, you too. I saw you. Taking 50 selfies at the Brunch.
I must hand it to the Djs here. It takes a special skill to make people stand and dance in the mud. (Believe me, I saw it at my second to last Tropical LUAU.) You really have to know your crowd and have so much fun yourself that everyone is compelled to jump in. It was also the first time I got to really listen to mixology music and I found their mic man to be having a party by himself when everyone else was just standing around. After a few key song selections, everyone joined in!
